Infium 0.9.81 Stable
nevercodes released this
2026-10-29 08:20:54 +01:00 Fixed a problem where some older messages could end up in the wrong order in a chat after the last couple of updates. Messages now always stay in the right order, and any chats that were already affected are put back in order automatically the next time you open the app.

2026-10-28 21:44:28 +01:00 Phone layout polish: the message box at the bottom and the status bar now line up neatly, so you get more room to read your chats. The message box corners now match the top bar for a cleaner, more consistent look.

2026-10-28 16:10:42 +01:00 What is new in Infium 0.9.79:
-
More reaction emojis: press and hold a message, then tap the arrow to see the full set of 36. The list scrolls if it does not fit on your screen.
-
Messages that cannot be read yet now show a calm waiting note instead of an error, and the app keeps trying to fetch them automatically.
-
More reliable delivery and decryption of messages across your devices.

Infium 0.9.78 Stable
2026-10-26 11:58:51 +01:00 Infium 0.9.78
What's new:
- Pasted images: after you paste a picture, press Enter to send it — the preview now closes as it should. Previously the message was sent but the preview stayed on screen.
- Read receipts across devices: if you read a chat on your phone, it now also shows as read on your Mac after restarting the app.
- Link previews in other languages: titles and descriptions in Cyrillic and other non-English scripts now appear as real text instead of codes like Д.
- iPhone and iPad: fixed a problem where updating the app could make it think your device was brand new, so older messages showed "Sent before this device was linked". Your device is now remembered across updates and restarts.

What's new:
- Fixed sign-in for passwords that contain special or non-English characters (for example £). Accounts with such passwords could not log in before; now they can.
- iOS notifications are improved: when your device is locked, a message shows "New message" instead of its text, and the real text appears as soon as you unlock the device (Touch ID / Face ID). You can change this in Settings → Notifications → Infium → Show Previews.
- Various stability improvements and updated translations.

Infium 0.9.76 Stable
2026-10-23 09:46:00 +02:00 A small polish update. The long-press message menu now has a clean, flat background. The faint green tint that used to sit at the top of the menu is gone, so it blends more naturally with the chat behind it.

2026-10-21 12:58:44 +02:00 Videos play right away. Before, a video you received could show a black box the first time you tapped play — you had to leave the chat and come back to watch it. Now it just plays. Also fixed: an album's caption is no longer lost when a chat reloads, and photos open sharp in the full-screen viewer instead of blurry.

2026-10-20 16:21:57 +02:00 Long-press a message to open its actions: the message lifts up, reactions pop out above it, and a tidy menu of everything you can do with the message appears underneath. Slide your finger to the action you want and let go — the item under your finger lights up in blue. The menu and the windows it opens (like Forward) now appear with smooth, Telegram-style animation.

2026-10-19 19:55:07 +02:00 Fixed a bug where messages could silently fail to send after a contact linked a new device. Infium now re-checks your contact's devices before sending, so messages always reach them. Plus reliability improvements for encrypted chats.

2026-10-19 11:44:15 +02:00 This update fixes a rare issue where a message could get stuck showing "Decrypting…" forever. Any message that is already stuck will now clear itself automatically. This makes end-to-end encrypted chats more reliable.
